INDIVIDUAL, COUPLES, & FAMILY THERAPY
MALLORY HEPP, LCSW
I work collaboratively with my clients to help them identify their strengths and harness these strengths to address the issues present in their lives. My goal is to partner with you to create a safe space for us to explore the behaviors, relational practices, thought patterns, and feelings that are getting in the way of you living a life rich with meaning and depth.
I deeply value connection and I believe that healing happens in the context of connected relationships. As such, a strong emphasis of my work with clients is on building connections and repairing strained relationships. I am comfortable navigating complicated relational dynamics and am adept at helping clients to develop boundaries and communication skills to address their relational needs. This relational work begins in the therapeutic alliance and is made possible through mutual respect and collaboration. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship requires trust and that trust is earned through connection and experience. My hope is that we can work together to build a trusting relationship that will be the foundation from which you begin to confront your fears and move into your life.
I know that vulnerability can be challenging and I consider it a privilege to join my clients in open, honest and courageous conversations. I approach the most difficult, vulnerable conversations with curiosity and compassion and seek to understand you in the context of your experience, values, and hopes for the future. I treat you as the expert on your story, and together we will work to empower you to make the changes you want to produce.
